iSpazio has put the white iPhone through its paces, and has documented the whole thing on video. They tested both the proximity sensor performance and signal loss caused by “death grip” in black devices. As you know, the rumor behind the white iPhone 4′s delay was due to issues with the proximity sensor and the camera quality among others things.

Google Chrome 11 has just been released sporting the new flat icon with improved security and with the speech-to-text support through HTML speech input API. The feature has been in testing, along with Google Chrome 11 which has just graduated to the stable channel, but since this is the channel that most users are on, it’s the first time many encounter the new feature.

The GarageBand application by Apple which was introduced originally for the iPad device is hacked to run on a iPhone 4 device. A reader was apparently able to make iPad-only GarageBand run on an iPhone 4 using a hack that requires a jailbroken device. It involves transferring the GarageBand application with changed metadata to an iPhone 4 via OpenSSH.

I guess it’s not that surprising given the release of the Xperia Play, but Sony has officially decided to kill the Playstation Portable (PSP) Go. The PSP Go had a relatively short lifespan. It was introduced in June 2009 as a smaller, more compact version of its counterpart, the PSP 3000.

Loyal Google Docs users have been wishing and waiting for a some kind of native app to be released on one of the many mobile platforms today.
