Many people are now sharing their this Christmas experience. Photographer Beto Lopez has also shared his one. He captured this year’s Christmas Eve in San Francisco via GoPro camera of a quadcopter and lately, he has released a video.
Is it possible to control a drone without looking at it? Yes, it’s possible. Team BlackSheep (TBS) has developed a new quadcopter called TBS Discovery that has an on-board camera fitted on the drone and can be operated through camera view rather than directly looking at it. The TBS showed a demonstration of TBS Discover flying over the audience at LeWeb 2012 in Paris.
Paul Wallich, a tech-savvy father, used to walk with his son 400 meters each morning to drop him to the bus stop. But Wallich was tired of doing this regularly. So he decided to make such a drone that will accompany his son while he goes to the bus stop, and will let Wallich track his son. Finally, Wallich has made a quadcopter. Want to know how he did that?
We have seen a lot of quadcopters earlier. Till now, we haven’t seen any animal that turned into a quadcopter and fly. For the first time in history, a pet has turned into a helicopter and flies successfully!
Given the fact that Windows Phone debuted after Android and iOS devices had been long launched; and that the platform is still to gain traction, it is only obvious that Windows Phone 7 users get most of the app in the end. A developer preferably rolls out an iOS version on the earliest, then an Android version and in few cases, finally a Windows Phone version. We all are acquainted with Acrobat. Most of the time, people do various type of acrobatic steps, sometimes animals do also. But did anyone one hear about Robots are doing acrobatics? I guess, NO. this time, instead of animal or human, robots will do the acrobatic styles. Well, a robotics research team at the University of Pennsylvania has designed a system to coordinate a number of small quadcopters. Being hope that, this robots will be used for surveillance or searching purpose after a disaster in future.
