LG To Launch Seven New Models Of Google TV At CES 2013

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the largest showcases of new technology in the world. Next year’s CES is going to be held from Jan 8 to Jan 11. Many people are eagerly waiting to see what new things will be unveiled at CES 2013? However, recently LG Electronics (LG) has announced that it’ll launch seven new models of Google TV that runs on Google TV 3.0 OS at CES 2013. Details inside.


New LG Google TV

LG Electronics will unveil two new model – GA6400 and GA7900 – at the CES 2013. The GA6400 model will be available in 42-inch, 47-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 60-inch screen sizes (42.0-inch, 47.0-inch, 50.0-inch, 55.6-inch and 59.8-inch diagonals, respectively). On the other side, GA7900 will be available in 47-inch and 55-inch. The GA7900 47-inch and GA7900 55-inch screen size will feature LG’s advanced Cinema Screen panel. This design minimizes the width of the bezel. All the TVs will be built with Google TV 3.0 OS platform.

That’s not all. All the screens of GA6400 and GA7900 will be shipped with a redesigned Magic Qwerty Remote that uses a full keyboard along with “Natural Language Recognition” via a built-in microphone. Other features are – voice recognition UI, cloud based game service “OnLive,” LG’s “PrimeTime Quick Guide” etc.

These models will be officially introduced at next month’s 2013 International CES in Las Vegas. But LG hasn’t give any idea about the TV’s price or availability.
