Google Opens Wallet To New Jersey Transit

NJ Governor Chris Christie announced that the third largest transit system in the country has partnered with Google to bring their wireless Wallet payment system to bus routes and rail lines in the Northeast, customers will be able to tap their Nexus S 4Gs at a handful of venues to fast-track their daily commute. Integrating contactless payments into transit systems certainly isn’t a new concept, but it’s one that’s expected to drive NFC adoption in areas where public transport is a way of life and commuters will be able to use the handset to quickly purchase tickets in a tap-and-go fashion at New York Penn Station, Newark Liberty International Airport Rail Station and several bus lines including the 120, 87, 81, 80, 43, 6 and 126……………….

Apple on Tuesday posted yet another record quarter to conclude its fiscal year 2011, led by continued growth of its iPad and Mac platforms and Apple sold 17 million iPhones, down 16% from the record 20.3 million it sold in the second quarter 2011 and also significantly off Wall Street estimates of 20 million to 22 million. iPad sales during the September quarter were 11.12 million, an increase of 166 percent from the year-ago quarter and Mac sales were the highest ever at 4.89 million for the three-month span. Apple’s cash pile on hand also continued to swell during the quarter and now stands at around $84 billion………………..

Canon has introduced a new camera in the EOS-1D series and it comes with many improved features, the new digital SLR is a high-speed multimedia device that will be replacing both the EOS-1Ds Mark III and EOS-1D Mark IV models from the company. Canon EOS-1D X Digital SLR is equipped with an 18-megapixel full-frame Canon CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 5+ Imaging Processors, 14-bit A/D data conversion and capable of shooting an incredible 12 frames-per-second (fps).
