Adobe has just announced today, their new Photoshop updated version Lightroom 4 has been released. Its beta version was first released for public in January 2012 and the final version of Lightroom 4 is now available for US $149. Adobe also offers US $79 for the upgrade, it is almost half from the main price. Lightroom 4 supports Mac OS and Windows both platform.
Recently, the Audiencia Nacional urged European Court of Justice to rule on Spanish citizens’ privacy rights when it comes to search engines. More precisely, the Spain’s highest court requests that Google users have the personal data deleted from the search engines. The European Court of Justice will have the mission to decide if the Spanish Court request is lawful or not.
Some users had been complaining that ever since they updated to OS X 10.7.3 they haven’t been able to restore their Mac through Time Machine. Apparently, Apple has heeded their plight and has now released a supplemental update to OS X 10.7.3 that should solve this problem. Of course the update will require that you run OS X 10.7.3 on your machine before installing the update.
WikiLeaks is one of the most controversial organizations that exist in the wide world of web. It has made its purpose to publish submissions of private, secret and classified media which the staff receives from anonymous sometimes shady sources, news leaks and whistleblowers. The website was launched back in 2006 and at that time claimed to be in possession of a 1.2 million documents.
The Anonymous group has been gaining a lot of popularity lately, especially because of the Megaupload campaign (dubbed the Operation Megaupload (#OpMegaupload)) which found the group hacking mercifully through websites of institutions who had a part to play in the whole scandal turned legal matter. We’re talking about the Department of Justice website being hacked along with numerous record label sites. But weirdly enough the Anonymous group doesn’t seem to spare even its own members.
AMD has announced that they arrive award winning 28nm GPU with 2 GB DDR5 graphic card named Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition and AMD Radeon HD 7850. The major difference between the two graphic cards is clock speed, HD 7850 runs at 800 MHz rather than the 1GHz of the HD 7870 GHz. However its price is not reasonable and starting price is $249.
Given the fact that Windows Phone debuted after Android and iOS devices had been long launched; and that the platform is still to gain traction, it is only obvious that Windows Phone 7 users get most of the app in the end. A developer preferably rolls out an iOS version on the earliest, then an Android version and in few cases, finally a Windows Phone version. Same is the case with Parrot’s AR.Drone quadcopter controlling app.
Google sure has upped the pace at which it is rolling out the versions of it’s Android OS for Android devices. Whereas Ice Cream Sandwich is still being considered a rather new version with not many vendors having upgraded their devices to it yet, Google’s Jelly Bean has already made news. It is expected to hit the shelves later this year. And while that is still fresh, we are now hearing rumors about the version that will follow Jelly Bean, most probably called Key Lime Pie.
