Apple’s patents are often used to get a hint on what the company plans on doing next. While that’s not always true, there is always a chance that the ideas in the patents may come up in future Apple products. It has been discovered in a new Apple patent that the company may be thinking of introducing Siri to your Mac. Via an iPhone. That’s right, we probably should forget getting Siri directly on a Mac. Rather, you may get to have it with the help of an iPhone.

Smartphone and tablets are the rage of today’s tech world. However, without a large ecosystem to support them, even an excellent product won’t pitch in with the users. Apple’s products and Android devices are a huge success precisely for the reason that they are part of a greater ecosystem, with hundreds of thousands of apps available for each. Now, Microsoft may be planning to take its Windows Phone Marketplace up a notch, as is evidenced by some leaked Microsoft slides.

Job cuts are really unpleasant. Nokia had recently been a part of that process of downsizing its man-power in Finland. It has cut out 1,000 jobs in Finland in order to keep its promise of making 4,000 job cuts. Although Nokia is indeed one of the leading mobile cell phones manufacturers in the world, but yet they are thinking of shifting to a position of employing less manpower. The economic effects of financial crisis, both global, regional and in some cases national, have led manpower being cut in a lot of the places and Nokia has now become a part of that downsizing too.
