HTC had been kind enough to its users when it announced the release of its bootloader unlock tool. The tool, as HTC later announced, unlocked some 45 HTC devices. However, the bad news that HTC has now sugar-coated and stated is that the bootloader unlock tool won’t be able to unlock any of HTC One X devices.

Samsung has launched the new Galaxy S III with a lot of new features. Although the device basically runs an Android 4.0, Samsung has integrated its own skin atop the OS very well. It is touting the skin over Android as ‘TouchWiz Nature UX’ which comes with some pretty mind-blowing features. What is even more significant is the sheer amount of functionality that Samsung is offering in this new device.
A lot of buzz has been surrounding the launch of Samsung’s flagship device, Galaxy S III. I must say a lot of us must’ve been surprised at a number of things, including the colors in which S III is available. Nonetheless, with this device, Samsung has taken a huge leap forward, introducing a whole plethora of really cool and unique new features, some of which are quite awe-inspiring.

Just hours after the grand launch of Samsung Galaxy SIII smartphone, the wave of anticipation seems to die off. In the Google+ trending topics it is seen in a declining trend, while iPhone is seen in an uprising trend. Twitter trend board also doesn’t show #GALAXYSIII at all. One of the true shape-shifting gadgets, Asus Padfone, hasn’t yet hit the shelves. Nokia has, for long, enjoyed the position of being the world’s largest handset vendor, even when its influence has gradually eroded in the West. However, Samsung has been making strides to bridge the gap and take the crown and though in terms of profitability, Apple still beats Samsung by a huge margin, Samsung was able to sell more mobile sets in the last quarter than any other company in the world, even Nokia.
