Google has updated its Symbian^3 YouTube mobile client to work better with Symbian^3, S60 5th edition, and S60 3rd edition.Taking the client to v2.4.10 – you can now sign in and use the usual Favourites and account features wherever you are.The new client is a 2.5MB download available from m.google.com.

Samsung has already launched quite a number of Android-powered phones to date but the Korean company has just introduced its first Android-powered flip phone, namely the Samsung W899. The phone will be available via China Telecom soon.No word from the company regarding the release of similar Android smartphones in Europe or North America. Maybe the company has plans for that.
Details of Nokia’s forthcoming Meego-based N9 smartphone have emerged on Twitter during a conversation between @camb078 and @addiermedina, the later works on Nokia’s team in Mexico.The N9, which looks like a miniature MacBook Air, is set to be released in the first quarter of 2011, possibly at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.

Microsoft has confirmed that it has pushed “an early build of a future update” to Windows Phone 7 to “a small number of developers” that adds, among other things, copy and paste. HTC want to be the first mobile phone manufacturer to feature a full 3D screen on an Android smartphone comes to us in an article over on Techradar.com. Although HTC showed off some 3D models at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year they were primarily to demonstrate HTC’s smartphone chips and were not intended to be finished articles.
