According to a number of sources, Amazon may be releasing an 8.9-inch tablet next year. This model of Kindle Fire will be produced to avoid competition with larger tablets. The news come from supply chain makers for Amazon who say that the device may hit the markets in the second quarter of 2012.

The iPhone Dev-Team’s MuscleNerd posted a screenshot to Twitter hat showed Cydia running on a jailbroken iPhone 4S and now MuscleNerd then posted a video to YouTube that shows an iPad 2 running both iOS 5 and Cydia. Apple has patched the exploitation holes used to hack previous devices, which explains why the new hardware (iPhone 4S and iPad 2) jailbreak is still delayed and in case you want to jailbreak the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2, then all you have to do is wait a while longer, not that we’d ever advise you to go for such procedures……………….

ViewSonic announced on Monday that its ViewPad 7e Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) tablet will be available in North America by the end of October for $199.99 and the ViewPad 7e offers a 7-inch display with an 800 x 600-pixel resolution, a user interface with 3D holographic visual effects, a 1GHz processor, 4GB of storage, a micro-HDMI port, a 3-megapixel camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and a microSD card slot for adding up to 32GB of additional storage. Samsung officially announced the upcoming availability of its Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus tablet featuring the Peel Smart Remote TV appliation and the 7-inch slate will hit retailers on November 13th for $400, four days before Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet starts shipping. Running Android Honeycomb, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is small, weighs a mere 12 ounces, is just a trim 0.39-inches thick, and features a 7-inch display and there’s no word yet if the slate will use an LCD screen or an AMOLED, but Samsung’s Touchwiz UI should be installed. The 16GB is the only version arriving so far, the 32GB flavor later this year or early 2012 and will begin taking pre-orders of the slate on October 23rd……………….
