Digitimes has had a fairly mixed record when it comes to the authenticity of rumors. It sure does publish a lot of them, though. The latest from Digitimes is that Intel is currently working on a tablet codenamed ‘StoryBook’ and that the tablet will be juiced up by Intel’s Medfield chip. Also, the tablet will have a 10-inch display.

There has been a lot of uproar over the battery recharge of the new iPad from Apple. The whole issue started when it was found out that the new iPad’s battery keeps charging even after the screen says it is 100% charged. In fact, charging the tablet beyond that point brings more battery life to the tablet. Now, Apple has stated that this contradiction between displayed charge and actual battery charging of the new iPad is intentional.

The feature of 4G connectivity in the new iPad was much touted and it was a key reason why millions of users flocked to the new tablet. However, there have been complaints from users that outside of North America, the new iPad doesn’t connect to 4G networks and so, the users have to rely on 3G. This puts a question mark on Apple’s marketing for the tablet in which, some say, Apple hasn’t been clear enough about this limitation.
