Intel is going to launch its Sandy Bridge ultra low voltage CPUs for the next generation MacBook Air. These processors would bring in Ultra Low Voltage technology-based Sandy Bridge. These new CPUs will replace the current Core i7 680UM version that comes with a clock speed of 1.46GHz and give a maximum of 2.53GHz of speed.

Apple has applied for a new Patent which has been granted by US Patent and Trademark Office. The patent describes what appears to be a new dock connector that can support both DisplayPort/USB 3.0. Apple has been using the 30 pin connector for a while now which brings portability and extendibility to all its products.
