A version of the Skype video calling app has leaked online. Folks over the Droid-Life have the APK file and you can download it & install it on your Thunderbolt handset now. You can now video chat with your friends via your front facing camera.

Engadget has noted that video quality was just as good on the 4G network as it was on Wi-Fi connection. The app is also working on 3G. HTC Thunderbolt is having the 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chats.

    Doesn’t work on my phone. It says cannot parse file. That’s on the Thunderbolt.

    I got same error. Vzw updated my thunderbolt software yesterday and now skype doesnt work at all… Need a fix!
