How To Install Android 2.2.1 Froyo On iPhone 3G / 2G Using Bootlace in Cydia

A new cydia app has released naming as – Bootlace 2.1.With this app you can install Android OS directly on your iPhone 2G or 3G without the need to have a computer connected through various cables to your iPhone.

The following iPhone 2G and 3G models are supported for this installation guide:

* iPhone 2G- 3.1.2, 3.1.3

* iPhone 3G- 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1

And the jailbreaking tools which are supported by Bootlace 2.1 are:

* PwnageTool
* Redsn0w
* Blackra1n

The steps are given below.

Step1: Once you have successfully Jailbroken your iPhone and got Cydia Installed on it. Then First of all you would require to add Below repository to Install Bootlace 2.1. Launch Cydia -> Tap on ‘ Manage ‘ Tab below -> Select ‘Sources’ and in the upper right corner Click ‘Edit’ and then Click ‘Add’ and Enter this URL: http://repo.neonkoala.co.uk and then Tap on ‘Add Source’

Step 2: Once you install the Bootlace, a new icon will be added to your Spring board called Bootlace as shown in the picture below:

Step 3: Now load Bootlace and install OpeniBoot. Now tap on iDroid and press “Install” it.

Step 4: Once you have installed ‘iDroid’ Tap on the ‘QuickBoot‘ icon at the bottom of the screen. And Tap on the Android Logo as shown in the screenshot below. It will reboot your iPhone with Android 2.2.1 Froyo. That’s it.
