Available for purchase on the Android Market, the application lets Slingbox® owners extend their living room TV experience to their tablets and takes advantage of the higher performance, screen resolutions and video quality the latest Android devices can deliver. New to this release of SlingPlayer is a revamped program guide that makes it easy to browse content choices while continuing to watch TV. SlingPlayer for Android Tablets is now available for U.S. $29.99, JPY ¥2600, UK GBP £20.99 and Euro €23.99 from the Android Market. The application can be purchased, downloaded and installed in minutes.The SlingPlayer application for Android Phones will continue to work in “Compatibility Mode” on tablets at no extra charge. The Android Phone version of the application streams from all Slingboxes, but not at the higher quality resolutions available on tablet devices.
