Pentax Optio S1 Digital Camera

Pentax has released a new 14 megapixel digital camera naming as Pentax Optio S1. It is offering easy-to-use features in an elegant, lightweight body. But Pentax also wants to distinguish the Optio S1 from a low-end point-and-shoot, rolling in features that are normally reserved for somewhat higher-priced offerings.

Pentax Optio S1 compact camera has features a high-resolution 14 megapixel sensor, 5X optical zoom, 720p video recording, Fast Face Detection, Smile Capture, and Blink Detection functions.

The Pentax Optio S1 digital camera packs a 2.7-inch LCD display, sensor-shift Shake Reduction, a High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode, and IR remote for the camera. New Pentax Optio S1 14MP digital camera should be ship due in April 2011 with a price of $199.95.
