  2. Skaldredge

Getting msg “error # 32” on my canon powershot A3100.  Then shuts down.   Also recently, turn on and screen stays black.  If I click button, I end up with black picture, but then advances to screen?

Having trouble with my canon power shot A3100is this week. “memory card error” and “unidentified image” appears on the screen and I cannot view or take pics anymore. I have moved the lock up and down on the side of the memory card, I have blown inside the camera, I have cleaned it. Nothing seems to work. And I’m running out of idea’s. I don’t want to delete the card or have to buy a new one. help

In playback mode, press MENU, then select Erase…>All Images…>OK.

Also, most photo software (like Google Picasa) lets you clear your memory card after you transfer pictures to your computer. That’s what I do.

    Hope that helps 🙂
