Gateway expands its sleek and popular line of AIO PCs and released ZX series multitouch all-in-one computers ZX4951 and ZX6351.ZX series AIO computers have a new curved design which is easy on your eyes……..

Responding to the success of its ZX One Series and the growing popularity of all-in-one desktop PCs among consumers, Gateway today expanded its line with additional models featuring an all new industrial design. The new AIO PCs join Gateway’s existing ZX One Series, adding more design choices, configurations and price points.

Gateway eleased a genuinely new redesign of the ZX One all-in-one desktop to make it better-suited as a media center. The 21.5-inch ZX4951 and 23-inch ZX6951 both have a new, curved design that it hopes is friendlier in the home. Their compact size makes them perfect for small rooms, such as a dorm, home office or kitchen. In addition, the ZX6951 includes a TV tuner, so it can easily double as a TV and/or home entertainment center.

A chrome back-stand can be adjusted for different heights and viewing positions, while a back door covers the various ports and cables keeping the back of the PC clean and streamlined. The new Gateway One ZX4951 and ZX6951 models can easily function as a TV and/or home entertainment center, making them ideal for small rooms, such as a dorm or home office. VESA mountable, this design can be attached to a kitchen wall, freeing up limited counter space.

Full high-definition widescreen LCDs, powerful components, 4GB of RAM (upgradeable to 16GB via 4 slots), 500 or 640GB(1) SATA hard drives, high-definition audio with 5.1 channel support, integrated wireless capabilities, and an integrated webcam make these great computers for PC-based entertainment, social networking and media sharing. The new models also include Gateway Touch Gadgets, a fun and useful way to use the PC’s touch screen technology to interact easily with the Internet, social media, music playlists, photos, videos and more.

Hmm, the latest iMac copy. Too little, too late. Apple has already moved the iMac way beyond this effort. The next iteration will clearly be in another league completely.

The fact that Gateway generally builds cheap products with a limited lifespan won’t help them either.

I got a ZX4951 Gateway all in one desktop last year for my birthday in March. Worked good for the 1st year. Now all I get is the blue screen. It works sometimes for 2 hours or so, but most of the time it will work for a couple of minutes, than it doesn’t want to turn off. I have reformat it about 20 times. Scan it, defrag it, tweaked it and have tried everything I think think of. I don’t think I would ever buy a gateway all in one again. Too much trouble. Does any one have an idea what the problem can be. I have check all boot sector and there is no problem found.
Thank you. I didn’t buy the extended warranty and I’m sorry that I didn’t. I’m pretty good in fixing the regular desktop but I don’t know about the all in one. I was reading on how I can open it to check it out. Is there any video out there that will show me how to do it.
Thank you if you can help. My email is normarosario@ca.rr.com
