Skype is definitely one of the most widely used chat tools around the world. Although it supports text chat as well as audio chatting, the strength of Skype lies in the absolutely seamless experience it offers in video chatting. Mac users have been facing some difficulty with Skype video calling and now Skype has resolved that issue.


Skype has released a new version of ‘Skype for Mac’ which is said to have resolved the users’ problems regarding video calling on Skype. The version is for users who are tooling Mac OS X on their Macs. The exact statement from Skype read,

“Today’s latest release gives you improved video call stability and improvements to the calling interface. Please download the latest Skype for Mac to ensure you’re receiving the best quality from Skype on your Mac.”

The version number of this updated version is  5.5.0.2340 and it is apparently aimed at specifically dealing with video calling stability on Skype. You can head to this link to download this latest Skype for Mac version.
