Bump 3.0 Released For iOS With New Feature

Bump has been among one of the most popular apps for both iOS and Android devices. It is basically an app that enables users to share contacts and other information simply by physically bumping the the two devices. A new version of the app, Bump 3.0, has been released by the developers. It has a cooler interface, has lot less clutter and contains an addition of some very useful features.

As soon as you install the new version of Bump, you will notice that Bump 3.0 is very easy to use as compared to the earlier version. It looks neat, is organized and let you manage and share contacts without any hassles.

The home-screen of the app features a three-pane solution. As soon as you first open the app, it asks you to fill out a contact card in case you don’t want to use your vCard or Facebook contact. But you can simply skip the filling process and rather use the other contact methods aforementioned. As soon as you swipe left, you will be presented, you will be presented with two more panes – photos and contacts.

Another very interesting feature that has been introduced in Bump 3.0 is ‘mutual friend discovery.’ As soon as you ‘bump’ into another device and share contacts, the app displays to you all the mutual contacts you and the other person have. This enables you to immediately know the people both of you may mutually know. But, for some, it may be rather intrusive and may raise their privacy concerns. In that case, all you have to do is change the privacy settings and turn this feature off.

Overall, the new interface of the app is very neat and appealing and the mutual friend discovery feature is also amazingly useful.

You can download Bump 3.0 for free from App Store right here.
