Manage Your Mobile Workforce With The Help Of Google Maps Coordinate

Google is working hard with Google Maps by adding newer features and expanding the uses of these maps, especially for businesses. The search engine giant has now released a  new feature called ‘Google Maps Coordinate’ which allows you to coordinate and monitor your mobile workforce.

Basically, the idea behind this feature is that you are able to locate the coordinates of your employees in real time.  Once you know where they are at a given time, you can discern what task needs to be done and then assign it to the person who is located most near to it, thus saving time as well as resources.

The employees, on the other end, make use of a mobile app to update their statuses and look for new assignments that may be a added by the higher management of the company. Moreover, the CEO of the company can be sure that an employee has indeed gone to a place and hasn’t simply updated the status by asking the employee to check in when he reaches there.

Unlike most Google products, this one is not going to be free and that is apparently because Google intends to pitch it to the corporate sector. It will be available as of Sept 1 and will cost $15 per person, per month.
