Energizer QI is one of newest wireless chargers.Energizer QI allows us to charge our gadgets without having to physically plug them into a charger. You can charge smartphones, cameras, MP3 players and other devices that need less than 5W of power by Energizer QI…..

Energizer today rolled out the Inductive Charger. The plate uses the Qi standard to charge the BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the iPhone 3G/3GS without wires. Both smartphones need a special add-on, either a battery door for the Curve or a full case for the iPhone, but never need to switch back; the iPhone case appears to block the Dock Connector.

The base plate itself isn’t limited to the two devices and should power up any Qi-capable device that uses 5W of power or less. A USB port also provides an option for those who need to charge a device through conventional means. Energizer hasn’t said how long either of the phones take to reach a complete charge versus a wired link.

The design of this charger was made in cooperation with Wireless Power Consortium and, according to Energizer, the price of the new Qi  Inductive Charger will be 89 USD. The company will also realease a Qi ‘door’ for the Blackberry Curve 8900 and a Qi sleeve for the iPhone 3G for 34,99 USD both.

Also, Energizer says that you don’t have to lock the device into an exact position, so you can be sure that when you rest your phone on the pad, its battery will be charged successfully. The charger also has a USB port so you can charge another additional devices and two LED charge lights indicates that the device work properly. Basically, any Qi-enabled device with Qi buit into its gadget can charge on any Qi inductive charger.
