Epson PowerLite X9 3LCD Projector

Epson has officially introduced new 3LCD projector, the Epson PowerLite X9. It provides an affordable yet impressive solution to projection needs in classrooms and small-scale corporate venues. It is suitable for small to medium sized conference rooms, classrooms with brightness, sharp image quality and convenient connectivity.

The 2,500 lumen, XGA resolution projector is the latest addition to the brand’s tried-and-tested PowerLite range, and is intended to help provide a solution to schools and organisations that are suffering under the pressure of public sector spending cuts.

The company’s product manager, Sara Kim, said, “The PowerLite X9 provides classrooms with brightness, sharp image quality and convenient connectivity that won’t break the bank.”

“While education budgets continue to shrink, we recognise there is still a need for advanced and reliable technology in the classroom.”

The X9 has a range of convenient and easy to operate features, including USB ‘Plug ‘n Play’ Instant Setup. This allows users to use a standard USB cable to connect the projector to a computer, eliminating the need for VGA cables.

The projector has 1.2x optical zoom and +/- 30 degree automatic vertical keystone correction capabilities, lending the model greater versatility in where it can be operated from. Its connectivity options allow it to be linked up with external speakers to enhance sound effects and it can also be hooked up to an external monitor.

Epson’s exclusive E-TORL lamp technology gives lamp life of up to 5,000 hours in economy mode while the 3LCD 3-chip technology creates true-to-life colour and detail for powerful presentations while using, on average, 25 percent less electricity per lumen of brightness.

The Epson PowerLite X9 projector is now available for price of $599.
