Angry Birds Space Downloaded 100 million Times In 76 days

Rovio has announced through its official Twitter account that Angry Birds Space has been downloaded over 100 million times in 76 days.

Rovio has announced through its official Twitter account that Angry Birds Space has been downloaded over 100 million times in 76 days after the games launch on 22nd March. Till now, it is the fastest growing mobile game and it has also touched 50 million downloads within the first 35 days. The game has seen 10 million downloads in the first three days and 20 million within a week. Rovio has also announced at the beginning of this month that its Facebook page already has 20 million fans.

Another new level of the game called Angry Birds Heikki, named after Finnish Formula 1 racing driver Heikki Kovalainen, will be released on 18 June. The new realese will be based on a racing theme. If the Angry Birds Space’s popularity continues to grow like this then all users might be using an Angry Birds’ Facebook phone which will be launched next year.
