After lots of speculations, Final Fantasy XII is releasing in US. The world’s largest video game and entertainment software retailer GameStop will host the game & launch it on 8th March at the midnight. FFXIII is officially shipping on March 9th.
Gamestop is hosting a midnight launch event on Monday, March 8, at more than 3,200 stores nationwide, Gamestop announced yesterday.
Leading up to midnight, Final Fantasy fanatics can participate in:
- Final Fantasy character costume contest
- Trivia challenges
- Final Fantasy artwork contest
Most participating GameStop locations will open at 10 p.m. local time; however, customers are asked to contact their local store to confirm the exact time of the event. Events may vary by location.
Final Fantasy XIII is already on the market in Japan since December 2009. The Final Fantasy series has sold more than 85 million units worldwide since it was first launched in 1987.
Amazon offers Final Fantasy 13 for PS3 and Xbox 360 for pre-order with a $10 off a future video game purchase offer.
