Gameloft has once again targeted the lucrative Android market with the launch of 10 3D games for high-end smartphones.
The new HD titles include: Asphalt 5, Let’s Golf!, Assassin’s Creed, Hero of Sparta, Gangstar: West Coast Hustle, Dungeon Hunter, Real Football 2010, N.O.V.A. Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, Modern Combat: Sandstorm and Tom Clancy’s HAWX.
It should be noted that Gameloft had previously decided to “significantly cut” development for Google’s OS – due to the alleged “weakness” of Android’s application market.
However, company spokesperson Gonzague de Vallois now claims that Gameloft’s goal has “always been” to offer the “best gaming experience” for each device.
“Those highdefinition 3D games are custom created for each handset. [For example], Let’s Golf showcases striking graphics that set the bar high for 3D golf games…[And] Tom Clancy’s HAWX and Asphalt 5 can be played using the accelerometer to navigate vehicles and planes.”
The new games can be purchased directly from Gameloft’s website by clicking here.

Mobile computing devices are increasingly replacing the regular PCs. While PCs still remain the mainstream mode of computing, the mobile platform has experienced an explosive growth in the recent years. And at the head of this growth is Apple, holding the largest market share in both the mobile PC and tablet market.
In April 2012, Nokia proudly announced that Lumia 610 would be able to run the Windows Phone version of Skype. Later on, Skype announced that it won’t support Skype for Windows Phone on devices with 256MB RAM. As Lumia 610 got only 256MB of RAM inside it, the future of Skype support in the handset was in jeopardy. According to reports, Nokia has officially pulled out Skype for Windows from Lumia 610 handsets because of unsatisfactory user experience.
Facebook and Google haven’t been on particularly good terms. The rather unpleasant relationship between the two extends well back into the past and the main reason is that Facebook has been refusing to allow Google to use its user data. While Facebook officially says that it won’t share the data because of privacy reasons of the users, Larry Page says that is false.
Apple’s success in the smartphone and tablet market has brought it an unprecedented success. iPad and iPhone are flying right of the shelves in millions and this has hugely increased the semiconductor consumption of Apple, making it the largest chip buyer in the whole world. Although Samsung comes second in the list, it is still far off in terms of buying volume, when compared to Apple.
