We reported a few days back that Sony’s feature-removing 3.21 update was forcing all PS3 users to get rid of Linux from their systems. Now hacker Geohot has released a video that proves he’s figured out how you can let your PS3 keep using Linux or another operating system even after installing the 3.21 update. Sadly, he hasn’t released it into the wild yet.
He’s called it 3.21OO, and claims it can “be installed without having to open up your PS3, just by restoring a custom generated PUP file, but only from 3.15 or previous.” Those who chose not to install 3.21 won’t be able to play online, but Geohot recommends just using the “proxy hack to play online with 3.15.”

Apple’s success in the smartphone and tablet market has brought it an unprecedented success. iPad and iPhone are flying right of the shelves in millions and this has hugely increased the semiconductor consumption of Apple, making it the largest chip buyer in the whole world. Although Samsung comes second in the list, it is still far off in terms of buying volume, when compared to Apple.
