Halo: Reach Pushes Xbox 360 To The Limit

The creative director of Halo: Reach has confirmed that the game will push the Xbox 360 to the limits of its current processing capabilities.

“We are taking every advantage of everything on the CPU and GPU, and every bit of memory in order to produce the look of Reach beyond anything of Halo 3,” Marcus Lehto told Edge.

“We’re pushing it as far as we can go. With every iteration we understand what more we can exploit with the hardware.”

Meanwhile, community director Brian Jarrard explained that Halo: Reach will feature an improved AI for additional replay value.

“The AI system is super robust, and is taken for granted as a rich simulation. Everything is simulated, nothing is bolted down,” said Jarrard.

“You can throw a grenade in a room and it’s all physically simulated. Even in our giant environments you see films in which someone will throw a grenade and it will send a Warthog flying through the air and it’ll kill someone on the other side of the map.”

However, when Facebook later stated its ambition to be successful across the mobile platform, it was understandable since Instagram has been a huge success on the mobile devices. A recent development suggests, Facebook might have started to utilize the Instagram know-how in their (Facebook’s) products already. You will know what I mean when you see the recently launched ‘Facebook Camera’ app.

While RIM may be deemed the company that launched the true smartphone revolution with its BlackBerry devices and coined the very concept, Apple will always be termed as the company which popularized the notion of smartphones. Smile is a great way to express pleasure or joy at something or someone. But more often than not, it has to be forced and is fake. While that may work for a lot of people perfectly well, things are about to change. A new technology from MIT can now detect if your smile is true or fake, thus busting you right on spot for pulling that false grin.

Great, as if my Jet Powered Fan cooled 360 isn’t stressed enough. Maybe MS do this on purpose so we all go and buy fresh consoles and boost sales numbers to brag at Sony

Talking of which, I wonder how many consoles MS would have sold if there wasn’t the RROD problem
