There are two great news for the hardcore game players regarding two hit series in the history of 1^st person shooting game- Medal of Honor and Battlefield. New game of Medal of Honor is scheduled to come later this year. The title of the game, confirmed in 23^rd February, 2012, is Medal of Honor: War fighter. Pre- Order is already available. Not only that, it is also confirmed by Electronic Arts (EA), publisher of the game, that the pre-ordered Medal of Honor: War fighter games include beta access to Battlefield 4.

Medal of Honor: War fighter is developed by Danger Close, and published by EA. The game is produced by Greg Goodrich. Sound track composed by Ramin Djawadi. The game uses Frostbite 2.0 Engine which was also used in Battlefield 3. Medal of Honor: War fighter is scheduled to release on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii on October 23, 2012 in the US. It will be released in UK on October 26, 2012.

Access to the Beta version of Battlefield 4 is offered to players with pre- Order of MOH: War fighter. After release of Battlefield3, Frank Gibeau, an Executive at EA, officially confirmed about the launch of Battlefield 4 in November, 2011. Battlefield 4 will developed by DICE and published by EA. DICE claimed in the homepage of Battlefield 4 that Battlefield will release on next generation consoles like PS4, Xbox 720. The release date of Battlefield 4 is not yet confirmed. However, we can expect to see it in the later half of 2013, or first half of 2014.

New gameplay trailer of Battlefield 4 Co- Op missions has been launched in February, 2012. In the trailer, it is seen that the graphic quality of the game is dramatically enhanced. EA claimed that the game uses real life style game engine although the name of the game engine is not yet known.
