Sony and HBO owner Time Warner has just joined forces in a new deal that will allow owners of Sony’s PS3 to download and watch HBO TV shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Blood, Entourage, Big Love and Flight of the Conchords from their console. With new shows added to the PlayStation Network every Tuesday, PS3 owners can download HBO shows for what they called a “premium price”—a not-very-nice $3. Eleven shows in total will be offered in the “DVD format,” though they won’t air instantly; coming almost a year after they first premiered on HBO.
