NVIDIA Shield Game Console To Start Shipping On July 31st

NVIDIA Shield is a handheld gaming console capable of playing Android games, as well as streaming PC games from Steam. NVIDIA has confirmed that it will start shipping the NVIDIA Shield on July 31st.

NVIDIA Shield

Pre-order for the NVIDIA Shield opened up on May 14. The console was due to be released on June 27th. But NVIDIA delayed the release of this console due to an unspecified “mechanical issue that relates to a third-party component.” NVIDIA mentioned that it was working with the particular supplier for fixing the issues and will announce the next shipping date as soon as the issues are solved. NVIDIA is now ready to ship the console and thanking customers for holding their patience for the release of Shield.
