Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that its Comic Store for PSP (PlayStation Portable) will be shutting down after October 30. After this date, users will not be able to buy comic content from the Comic Store.
If you have already purchased comics from the Digital Comics store, then you will be able to download the purchased comics from the store till mid- January, 2013. Keep in mind, after mid- January, 2013, you will not re-download any comic contents that you bought earlier. You can, however, back up your comics using Media Go service in the mean time.
Sony will, however, launch a Manga store and reader in October for Japanese PlayStation fans. But, fans in other countries won’t avail the service.
