The site i visit requires “flash” be installed prior to obtaining the audio i request. I don’t care if some “apps” have “flash” “built in”, i probably don’t even care for them. I just want the audio that i want. Sheesh!

Huh? Any iPhone app can have FLASH in it.
You can’t “force” a developer to put FLASH in his apps.
If Safari doesn’t want FLASH, it doesn’t have to support it.

Here’s just a small, partial list of some iPhone apps that *DO* have FLASH:
