Apple has updated it’s iTunes Terms and Conditions to explain on how to buy or download a free application from it’s App Store. It explains how subscriptions can be managed and how features like auto-renew can be turned on and off. Checkout the description of the new addition grabbed from the terms after the break.
For the sake of clarity, on-year Paid Subscriptions will automatically renew, subject to a recurring annual payment for which you Account will be charged no more than 24 hours prior to the renewal and thereafter no more than 24 hours prior to the anniversary date. You may cancel the renewal or recurring payment in advance by selecting Manage App Subscriptions in your account and selecting the subscription you want to modify. Where required by law, refunds (which may be pro-rated to take into account content included in the Paid Subscription that you have already received) are available by completing the e-mail form available at http://www.apple.com/ca/support/itunes/. No other refunds, returns or cancellations after purchase.
You will be asked to accept these terms when you download your next app from the App Store.
