Budget iPhone May Yet To Come, But Its Knock-Offs Are Already In Market

We’ve already heard a lot of rumors regarding a budget iPhone from Apple. This time we got to see a phone inspired by the (yet to come) next iPhone. The design of the phone is said to be mocking that of the rumored budget iPhone. And, it’s already in the market, even though a budget iPhone is yet to arrive.

Basic Bear TTJ-1

The knock-off of the budget iPhone, being brought by phone accessory maker Techdy, is called Basic Bear. Ironically, it is running Android. Like the purported budget iPhone, Techdy’s Basic Bear comes in different colors – white, green and pink. For $199 it packs a 4 inch display (1136 x 640 pixels), 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2 megapixel camera w/ 1080p HD video recording, built-in Qi wireless charging capabilities, 2300 mAh battery, and Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean).

But this is not all. For $50 extra Techdy is also offering a HTC One knock-off called Bear Pro.

According to Techdy’s web site, the first production runs of both phones will be limited to 100 units each, and these are expected to ship after 1st September.
