Apple has made available an eighth beta release of iTunes 10.5 to developers, focusing on bug fixes and improvements and the update is available alongside a new release of iWork for iOS beta 3. iTunes 10.5 beta 8 comes with the automatic backup feature to save the music that you added on iCloud from your PC and Apple also encouraging the developers to signup for the iTunes Match beta at cost of $24.99 per year to test the service. The update was released for the common users too unless some major bugs forced Apple to launch the Gold Master Candidate…………………

Apple has just seeded iTunes 10.5 Beta 8 to all existing developers enrolled in Apple’s developer program which brings in better support for iTunes Music Match service and the update brings in tons of surprises for everyone, first of all, we don’t see iOS 5 Beta 8 in sight, which means that the previous release, which was Beta 7 might be the last beta we would probably see before it hits the Gold Master candidate. These releases are intended to help developers testing the Music Match features of iTunes and iOS 5 as well as the iCloud integration of the iWork suite for iOS and the iTunes 10.5 beta 8 update notes refer to several issues with iTunes match including the fact that the scan and match service is not fully enabled yet and that some songs may not be recognized as matches even if they are on the iTunes store. iTunes 10.5 beta 8 includes several performance enhancements and bug fixes, and is a required update for all subscribers to iTunes Match beta. Your iCloud libraries will be deleted at the end of his beta.Backup regularly and do not delete the music you add to iCloud from your computer. Apple may periodically delete all iCloud libraries during the beta period. This will require you to scan, match, and upload songs again. Also note that some of the features and optimizations of iTunes Match may not be available during this beta.
