More evidence points to next generation iPhones carrying iPhone 4 sized screens and it carrying a similar Engineering Verification Test 1 designation and dated March 3rd, 2011. The part consists of the entire front assembly for the N94 device and the esign is entirely consistent with the iPhone 4, showing the same amount of bezel edge on the sides of the screen and also a hole for the traditional iPhone home button………………..
MacPost.net posted photos of iPhone N94 prototype front panel and the part is labeled “EVT 1″ (Engineering Verification Testing) and is dated March 3rd, 2011. It is not clear if iPhone N94 prototype is iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S, which is rumored to be the cheaper version of iPhone 4 with 8GB storage that will be introduced along with the next generation iPhone. ut since reports and the purported iPhone 5 case designs seem to indicate that iPhone 5 will be completely redesigned iPhone with curved/sloped back and come with a metal back, it is possible that these leaked iPhone parts are for the so-called iPhone 4S. MacPost reports:
The panel part shows same bezel space on the sides of the display, as well as similar space between the screen and the home button and top ear piece, when compared with iPhone 4. If you compare the digitizer component, it is exactly the same as that of iPhone 4 model. The home button might not be going anywhere and the cut-out area for Home Button is still circular which debunks earlier claim that iPhone 5 will get an elongated Home Button (rather capacitive).
