A lot of iPhone cases  are out there in the market. Some of them have good looks, others are more durable and affordable. However, none is even passingly as awesome as Spike, which happens to be not only a protective iPhone case but also an actual hard keyboard for the smartphone.

Naturally, the reason a user buys iPhone is because he wishes to have a touchscreen enabled smartphone. However, while touchscreen navigation is excellent on iPhone and is very useful a lot of times, it gets a little tough if you have to type long emails using it. In such cases, many of us have craved to have a real keyboard for the iPhone.

Spike keyboard with specially designed keys:
The Spike keyboard is an excellent one in that not only does it fit in perfectly with the iPhone, it has all the good looks. Furthermore, it comes with specially designed and sculptured keycaps so that while you type, you are able to type far more accurately and precisely. The initial suite is being offered through a Kickstarter project here.

You have multiple options to back the project and will be rewarded in kind through different products. To actually lay your hands on the suite once it goes commercial if the project pans out, you will have to dole out a cool $35. But from the looks of it, every penny of this $35 would be worth it.

Premium offering: Limited Edition Spike
For those who are seeking premium products to stay one step ahead of the contemporaries, there is a special ‘Limited Edition Spike’ which looks all the more cooler and will be made up of an all-aluminum, antenna-neutral case. Moreover, you can have text engraved on the back of this limited edition version to make it further personalized.
