WordPress App For iOS Brings 180 Major Changes For Users

WordPress retains its position as the most popular blogging platform in the world. There are more than 54 million WordPress sites. The hosted WordPress.com service is growing by over 100,000 new “presses” per day. Official statistics say, WordPress has more than 330 million people viewing more than 2.5 billion pages each month. And to facilitate the users WordPress has a wonderful app in the Apple’s app store which is totally free. This time WordPress team brought the biggest update for the users ever. By this update they brings 180 new features and fixes in total. And that’s pretty huge!

In the update WordPress added post formats, that helps to set the format and theme of the post. Users can now read through the WordPress.com Reader, upload images through Quick Photo and more. To facilitate blogging from iOS devices, WordPress developers outlined features such as visual editor, a notification area, and featured images support etc. The new WordPress app for iOS has added support for sliding sidebar panels to take advantage of the larger iPad screen.
