MSI has officially introduced its MSI G Series gaming laptop dubbed as MSI GX680. It is powered by the Intel second generation Core i7 quad core processor, the high-end nVidia GeForce GT 555M discrete graphics card, 4 DDR3 memory slots, accelerated dual hard disk architecture, and ultimate smart wrap around sound experience courtesy of Dynaudio, THX TruStudio Pro.
MSI GX680 sandy bridge gaming laptop is equipped with DVD Super Multi (or Blu-ray) drive, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth 2.1, webcam, 5-in-1 card reader, and two USB 3.0 ports.
Newly GX680 is sports TDE (Turbo Drive Engine) for overclocking, and ECO Engine for optimal power consumption on battery power, as well as Cooler Boost function for efficiency of the cooling system.
MSI GX680 notebook has dimension of 395 x 267 x 55 mm and weight 3.5 kg. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Ultimate OS. No word on pricing yet.
