The Panasonic Toughbook CF-C1 is a 12.1″ touchscreen device that is intended for mobile workers who want a tough and versatile computing experience. The Toughbook CF-C1 features all the little things you’ll need and is also backed up by a two-year accidental damage warranty.

In addition, the company is underlining its confidence in the ruggedness of its products by offering a new two-year accidental damage warranty on all new CF-C1 devices. The warranty covers a complete range of damage: non-intentional liquid spills, drops, falls, collisions and electrical surges and even covers damaged or broken LCD displays. The accidental damage cover complements Panasonic Toughbook’s existing three-year warranty against material and manufacturing faults.

Most consumer tablets use a single battery design which is unable to support busy mobile workers who spend the day travelling and need their tablet to work alongside them. The CF-C1 comes with a twin hot-swappable battery that provides up to 10 hours of operation and allows users to swap batteries while the unit is running.

This Panasonic Toughbook mobile product features a 12.1″ WXGA (1280×800 resolution) resistive multi-touch display. The keyboard is spill-resistant and features 84 keys. The notebook uses a Intel Core i5-520M which has a clock speed of 2.4GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.93 GHz. The CF-C1 comes with 2GB DDR3 RAM (up to 4GB) as well as a 250GB hard drive. Graphics are handled by the integrated Intel HD graphics processor.

For ports and connectivity you are supplied with Gigabit Ethernet, 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, plus an SD/SDHC card slot. The Panasonic Toughbook CF-C1 can also be configured with a built-in webcam.The starting price for the Panasonic Toughbook CF-C1 is set at £1,709.
