Nokia has announced Nokia Reader 1.0 Beta for a simple and easy to use RSS reader to manage news feeds on your Symbian^3 or S60 5.0 device.The application features push notifications (making use of Nokia’s new notification service API), a content directory and homescreen widget integration. It provides a clean and efficient way to consume and be notified of updates to your favourite feeds while on the move. The application is available for most S60 5th Edition and Symbian^3 phones.

Nokia Reader is compatible with all S60 5th Edition devices and Symbian^3 devices, with the exception of the Nokia 5800 and variants. As an experimental prototype, it is expected that there will be occasional problems with the application.
