The simple yet impressive Nokia C2 enables users to keep both SIM cards active. Users can now easily receive phone calls or text messages on either number while the handset is on. The very first SIM card on the device lies underneath the battery. The second card comes with a unique feature ‘hot-swappable’ that allows users to remove or insert it when the phone is on.
Apart from this, the device offers users an extensive range of information covering healthcare, agriculture, education and entertainment via Nokia’s Ovi Life Tools. Integrated with Ovi Mail, the C2 pushes users’ email and chat accounts direct to the phone with the help of Nokia Messaging. For those enthusiastic about music, it sports an FM radio and music player, with a massive amount of music storage with the support for microSD cards of up to 32GB.
Other highlighting attributes of the handset include a standby time of up to 16.5 days, space for up to 1,000 entries in the phone book, a VGA camera, Bluetooth, and GPRS. Concurrently, Nokia unveiled the Nokia Bicycle Charger Kit, an alternative charging solution designed specifically for users with limited access to electricity.
