Ever since Samsung launched its flagship line-up of Galaxy smartphones, it has somehow been considered a direct Apple rival. And the company has substantiated this position by often indulging in showing, in its ads, how iPhone devices are no good when compared to Galaxy devices. However, Samsung seems to be changing this strategy now.

Until Galaxy  S II, in every other ad, Samsung would be found criticizing directly or indirectly, the Apple products. Some ads would mock the features of iPhone while others would take a jibe at the availability issues.

However, it seems that the company has matured over time and with the release of Galaxy S III, it has changed its strategy. Naturally, Galaxy  S III is indeed so awesome that the company wouldn’t need to take cheap jibes at others to get attraction. Rather, the device itself is awesome enough to attract users.

So now, Samsung is try to bring out the useful and practical aspects of different features of Galaxy S III. For instance, the company is mainly focusing the photo-sharing features of the device, trying to show how integration with the social realm makes photo-sharing on Galaxy S III a pleasure. And the ads are quite good in that they do actually bring out the practical aspect of the device, letting the user have something tangible to adhere to.

It’s good that Samsung has moved on from its ‘anti-Apple’ commercials and is taking on a different marketing approach.
