Verizon Wireless and Skype have just announced their partnership that will give U.S. On Saturday, there is a rumors that Verizon and Skype would be announcing a partnership deal at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Well, it’s official. The two companies are announcing what they call a “strategic relationship that will bring Skype to Verizon Wireless smartphones in March.”


The new service will bring Skype to Verizon Wireless phones sometime in March. With this new service, we will be able to call around the globe via VoIP, while your friends can communicate with you via the same route as well. The new exclusive and easy-to-use Skype mobile service will be initially available on several Verizon Wireless phones including BlackBerry Storm 9530, Storm 2 9550, Curve 8330, Curve 8530, 8830 World Edition and Tour 9630. It will also be supported by Droid, Droid Eris and Motorola Devour.
Specifically, the service will let you:
* make and receive unlimited Skype-to-Skype voice calls to any Skype user around the globe on America’s most reliable wireless network;
* call international phone numbers at competitive Skype Out calling rates;
* Users can send and receive instant messages to other Skype users and remain connected to see friends’ online statuses.
This new Skype service is practically extending your data calling plans plus the fact that you can call anyone through Skype, anytime from anywhere.
If you have one of those phones and a 3G data plan, you woll be able to start using Skype mobile from March.

While the jury did agree to the former, it was unsure to the latter question. Now, though, the jury has come out with a decision and it is in favor of Google, ruling that Google didn’t infringe Oracle’s patents.
The hard drive industry has been shrinking rapidly. There have been acquisitions and mergers left, right and middle. One of the main reasons is that the a lot of storage is now going into the clouds, offered by alternate tech giants and the traditional hard drive big-wigs are having a hard trying to catch up.
