Chief Marketing Officer of Verizon Wireless, Tami Erwin, revealed an information about BlackBerry 10 during an interview with CNET. He confirmed that Verizon will sell BlackBerry 10 smartphone immediately after Research In Motion (RIM) releases it; that would be in the first quarter of 2013.
It is good news for BlackBerry fans. However, no hint has been given about the pricing.
Verizon Wireless also confirmed to launch several Windows 8 Phones before the launch of BlackBerry 10. The wireless carrier is keen on finding a third major platform after iOS and Android, and it doesn’t care whether the third major OS be Windows or BlackBerry.
