Various rumors on what mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless might have in store for its customers for the following months have already emerged into the wild, but nothing was as solid as the latest leak on the matter. The operator’s entire summer catalog made it into the wild, showing a series of new handsets on their way to Big Red’s airwaves, while confirming the arrival of other phones……..

BGR looks like it has grabbed some leaked document again, and this time it from one of the Verizon Wireless sources, it says. Reportedly, the document is Verizon’s summer device catalog.

Verizon subscribers who are thinking of purchasing a new phone should be quite happy to hear that the carrier’s summer device catalog has been leaked, giving us a pretty good idea of what devices to expect from it. One of the most noticeable phones on the catalog will have to be the yet-to-be-announced Motorola Droid 2.

And if some were wondering what the forthcoming DROID 2 by Motorola would come to the market with, the leaked catalog offers some answers in this area too. It seems that the device should be powered by a 1GHz processor, and that it should boast a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as 3G Mobile Hotspot functionality. Moreover, it would include a microSD memory card slot, with an 8GB card pre-installed.

As for other mobile phones that weren’t announced until now, but which can be seen in the leaked summer device catalog, BGR notes the Samsung Intensity 2, along with a Verizon Wireless Salute, and the Samsung Gusto. The Pantech Jest is also included in the catalog, but the wireless carrier already made this handset available for purchase on its network.

Which is listed as sporting a 5-megapixel camera, 3G Mobile Hotspot functionality, 1GHz CPU and will be bundled with an 8GB memory card. Other devices in the catalog include the Samsung Jest, the Samsung Intensity 2, Samsung Gusto, and surprisingly the recently-axed Microsoft KIN phones.

The arrival of Motorola DROID 2 is indeed one of the most interesting entries in that catalog, especially with two DROIDs already available at the carrier when it lands. Additional details on Verizon’s summer catalog can be found in the photos attached to this article, while the entire gallery is available at BGR.
