Opera has just announced that they will be launching an official Opera Mini browser specially design for Tablet PC like iPad & Samsung Galaxy tab. Similar to the versions of Android and Windows 7 tablets, this iPad-specific version of the Opera Mini will also freely be available in the App Store. So, Opera Mini for iPad has been released officially, now it’s waiting for the approval of the Apple App Store.
According to an Opera spokesperson:
It’s not been approved yet by Apple, but it’s awaiting approval. We expect it to be out soon.
Opera is expected better performance compare to safari as Opera is using central proxy server for caching information.
Last year Opera Mini was launched for iPhone so nowadays opera is already available for iPhone, Android and Windows 7 tablets, and very soon they are going to introduce Opera for iPad, J2ME, BlackBerry and Symbiam as well.
