Google co-founders have always come off as very humble fellows to me. We have often seen the duo mingling with fellow Googlers and sometimes, even with the users. A user recently snapped the photo of Sergey Brin taking a New York City subway while wearing Google glasses. Does he regularly take the route or was he testing out the gear?

Sergey Brin

The photo was taken by Noah Zerkin. Zerkin is indeed lucky to have come across Brin when he was wearing the Google glasses. He is an augmented reality enthusiast himself, so he was really happy that he got to see Brin tooling the glasses on a subway.

Zerkin met Brin on a downtown bound #3 train. The two happened to have a conversation after which, Zerkin asked Brin if he could snap a photo to which Brin agreed. Zerkin then took a shot of Brin wearing those glasses and the photo has since gone pretty much viral. It has been featured on a number of technology blogs as well as used by many mainstream media sources.

This goes on to show that Sergey Brin and the rest of the Google Glass team is actively testing out the prototype of the glasses which, we had been promised, will be delivered to the developers during 2013. We do hope that the team is able to live up to its deadlines and that the developers will be able to lay their hands on the much-anticipated gear soon enough.
