Archos, a French consumer electronics company has just announced the latest second-generation tablet, the Archos 101 XS 2, which also appears on the company’s official website. Archos has also released an innovative keyboard cover called “Coverboard”, which is a unique magnetic keyboard that clips onto the device to improve content creation.
The 101 XS 2 tablet is smartly designed. It comes with 10.1-inch 1280 x 800-resolution HD IPS display with front-facing speakers, 2GB of RAM and dual-cameras. It is powered by a quad-core 1.6GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor.
The tablet will arrive in the US this December. Along with the keyboard, this tablet will cost $279 from Archos’ own web store.
