EVI Brings Android 4.0 Yzi Tablet On A Budget, Just €159

EVI, a new tablet manufacturer from France, has launched an Android 4.0 tablet branded Yzi for an affordable price. The 10-inch tablet is definitively not a processing powerhouse but features some moderate specs. And, the user interface is fully translated in French. You have probably figured it out by now – Yzi is available in France only, with a retail price tag of €159 (~$203).

Yzi features a 1024×600 pixels 10 inch capacitive multitouch screen. It provides an 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor and a 400 MALI graphics card. The tablet comes with 512 MB RAM, 4GB storage capacity and has a Micro SD card slot for further memory expansion. Yzi comes with a native USB port and a mini USB port. The tablet also has HDMI (1.4) support. The device has some advanced communication features too. It comes with a microphone, a speaker and a front facing 0.3 megapixel webcam.

The tablet has a featured battery life of 15 hours maximum which drops down to 6 hours with multimedia usage. Hopefully, it would hold for 6 hours while you are surfing the web over Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n supported) or 3G (optional) networks.

It is definitely not a big powerhouse for users looking for the highest level of performance available. But, if you are looking for a cheap Android tablet and ready to compromise the lackluster of performance then Yzi is a good alternative – at just €159.
